“I have been using Copper State Hospice for quite some time now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about all of the nurses and their team as a whole. I have been a manager of assisted-living facilities for over 10 years and have worked with an abundance of multiple hospices over the years and I find great comfort in knowing that Copper State is handling the care of my residents when this service is needed. They are highly qualified, knowledgeable and compassionate individuals Who make a huge difference in each one of their patients lives. They go out of their way to make the residents feel special and loved by taking the time to go gather balloons and gifts, and bring some thing for their birthday, or something, such a simple as painting their fingernails on a visit or just even a simple sit down conversation getting to know their patients. They care and it shows .
The nurses are great educators not just for staff, but for Family as well. They do a ton of teaching On each one of their patients individual care needs.
I love how they validate their patients feelings and thoughts and concerns, and take them into consideration. I love the way they Take the time to educate the Families on the process of hospice and the things they are going to do for their loved ones. Most important they are huge with validation and constant reassurance Gaining and earning each and everyone’s trust.
I honestly could go on forever about how much I love Copper State Hospice and their team. They have made such a difference in so many lives that they have crossed paths with and I’m forever grateful for their care.” -TW
